At First Assembly, fulfilling Christ's command to go and make disciples of all nations is central to our missions department's vision. We believe in actively supporting missions, both abroad and in our local community, as the greatest mission field. As such, we dedicate the first Sunday of every month during our morning service to present and highlight missions. Our aim comes from Matthew 28:19-20, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." We strive to be ambassadors of Christ, sharing the transforming power of Jesus with all whom we encounter.
